Crystal Pobuda
-Principal
My name is Crystal Pobuda, and I’m thrilled to be joining the team at Glendale Sciences and Technology School this year as Principal. I began my teaching career in Fort St. John, BC, where I taught for ten years before moving to Alberta. I then spent two years teaching in Ponoka before joining Hunting Hills High School as a math teacher. In 2022, I stepped into the role of Vice Principal at Hunting Hills, and I’m now proud to say I'm a Gladiator.
My husband and I have two wonderful children—Quinn, who is entering Grade 9, and Kayne, who is starting Grade 7 this year. Outside of school, I love staying active and being outdoors, whether that means hiking to waterfalls, climbing mountains, or skiing—be it on water, downhill, or cross-country. When I’m not on the move, I enjoy baking and reading.
I am eager to support our Glendale students as they grow into curious, creative learners, and I look forward to working together to make this a fantastic year. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime by phone or email—I’d love to connect!

Lisa Robertson
-Vice Principal
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I was born in Langenburg, Saskatchewan into a family of ten. I completed my high school education in Langenburg before moving to Red Deer to complete my education degree through Red Deer College/University of Alberta. I taught my first year in Lloydminster, AB before moving back to Red Deer in 2001 to begin teaching in at Hunting Hills High School. In 2016 I began my Master's program with City University of Seattle. I graduated with a Master's of Education with a focus on Leadership in Education. My husband, Kevin Robertson, is the principal at Joseph Welsh Elementary. I have two boys, Lynden and Tanner, who both attend schools in Red Deer Public.
My fundamental belief is that all kids can learn when they have a champion in their corner. Feel free to stop by the school if you have any questions or concerns. My door is always open.
